The NISC 24 hour run is an idea that has its roots in events brought from a teacher’s previous experience at other school. The premise is that an entire school community, from Early Learning through to Grade 12 plus Alumni, parents and teachers can collaborate to accomplish a seemingly improbable venture – Running for 24 hours.
We hope that the event will continue to grow and become an integral part of NISC action and it’s interaction with the wider community. This year’s event is raising money and awareness for Facing Africa and the National Borei School and Orphanage which is literally just down the road from our campus. These charities have been chosen by the student Council and by Teachers to reflect our mission of Compassionate Global leaders.
A day in our lives seems not too much in the great scheme of things – but imagine the difference you could make in 24 concerted hours of effort and focused passion.
What a difference a day makes…
